What can you expect?

A shiatsu session lasts for about an hour. It is done through clothes so loose comfortable clothing is advised. Each treatment is different because it is tailored to you at that time. It will include pressure point work (acupressure), stretches, rotations, and hand on (using my thumbs and palms). The aim is to rebalance the body on all levels.

Sports massage is a hands on treatment with essential oil, used to relieve tension in muscles and connective tissue. I use deep tissue techniques, with the aim of reducing muscular tension, discomfort and pain. As a deep tissue massage technique, it can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  - Muscular and joint pain
- Postural related pain
- Headaches
- Repetitive strain injuries
- Back pain
- Neck and shoulder tension
- Anxiety and relaxation
- Hip and sacroiliac joint pain

As I have trained for so many years in shiatsu and see the benefits, I incorporated my shiatsu training into my sport massage, using pressure points, stretches, and working down energy pathways to get the best outcome for the client.
